Taipei】MSI has been drawing a lot of attention lately from top media organizations of the world like CNN and the New York Times and it received kudos from Taipei Computex when it was given the Best Choice Award. MSI will be showing off its wares in exhibition area L507a of the World Trade Center’s Nangang Exhibition Hall from 2~6 June. Its product lines have received highly favorable reviews and boast the latest technologies designed and developed in line with MSI’s principle of “Insist on the Best.” Some will be exhibited as parts of scenarios that will afford visitors the opportunity to experience how MSI products are slated to become an integrate part of our lives. If you would like to be among the first to experience the company’s products, you can visit MSI’s website at http://event.msi.com/computex/2009/emagazine/index.htm

MSI has been very successful in promoting its own brand name to penetrate the global market and will continue to flex its muscles at Taipei’s Computex starting on June 2. In addition to throwing down the gauntlet in its quest to win global market share and establish global presence, MSI will be highlighting a solid array of its products, including the best motherboards and graphics cards in the world, the thin, light, aesthetically pleasing, and highly acclaimed X-Slim Series of laptops introduced this year, the Wind U Netbook Series, the G Series, gaming notebooks used to snatch the world video game championship, the AIO (all-in-one) Wind Top computer series, and individual computers for car and airplane use. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness MSI’s robust R&D and design capabilities that are dedicated to meeting consumer market needs.

MSI’s products have drawn positive reviews from all circles as well as from the market this year. Examples include The New York Times which wrote up MSI’s mini Wind Box PC in March and CNN’s recommendation of the touchscreen AIO AE1900 Computer. PC World recently ranked MSI’s U115 Netbook and the X-Slim X340 as one of the top 10 computer products that consumers most want to buy. For this international computer exhibition, MSI has pulled all the plugs to show its solid selection of products.

MSI President Joseph Hsu points out that this year marks the launching of MSI’s own brand name. During this exhibition, MSI will display a variety of products, including mini laptops, super thin notebooks, overclocker notebooks, Wind Top (AIO), motherboards, and graphics cards. Probably MSI’s most popular is the super thin X-Slim Series which comes with the CULV platform. It includes the X-Slim X340, the first 13.3” ultra thin notebook in the world equipped with Intel’s CULV and the X-Slim X400, a 14-inch that will be making its debut at this exhibition, and the X-Slim X600, the world’s lightest 15.6” notebook computer. These models are all under 1-inch thick and boast long battery life. With MSI’s integration of the latest technologies into its products, we can now say goodbye to the era of fat, clumsy notebooks and hello to the era of lean, mean, gorgeous machines.

MSI Marketing Director Sam Chern explains that MSI is the first Netbook computer producer in the world to introduce a mainstream 10” Netbook computer and visitors will be more than impressed by this year’s array of laptop products. Models equipped with the latest wireless transfer technology 3G or WiMAX, digital television, and environmentally friendly power saving features in classy cases are all to be displayed at Computex. The Wind U115 which boasts up to 16 hours of battery life, which was awarded the Best Choice Award by Computex organizers, will be presented to buyers and media of the world.

Chern emphasizes that MSI is known around the world, has 22 years in the business, and is one of the world’s top two motherboard and graphics card manufacturers. Under CEO Hsu’s policy to sell under MSI’s own brand name, MSI officially adopted a brand-new corporate identity system in 2009. It looks forward to consumers around the world becoming more familiar with MSI’s new brand name and its innovative products, like the Wind U Series of Netbooks, the thin, light X-Slim laptop series, and the classic C Series.
